Sand Sculpture appeal Maoist for releasing Italian Tourist

Two Italian tourists have been taken as hostage by Maoists at an undisclosed location in Odisha’s Kandhamal district. First time in Odisha they kidnapped foreign tourists. They traveled from Puri to Kandhamal.
Today the International sand artist from Odisha created a sand sculpture to appeal Maoist for releasing the Italian tourist with a message “ Please release our guest”, at Puri beach of Odisha. “Atithi devo bhava” so I appealed for the release of the guest, Paolo Bosusco, and Claudio Colangelo on humanity ground. Today lot of tourists gathered at Puri beach and spoke to media and told that the maoist must release the Italian Guest.
Sudarsan with his students created this 4ft height sand sculpture by taking 5hours and using 3 tones of sand in it.
Sudarsan so far has participated in more than 49 international sand sculpture championships across the world and won many awards for the country. He has also performed a sand animation in the opening ceremony of Common wealth game.
