On the Nabami tithi i.e. the 9th day of bright Asadha, a special darsan of the Triad ) Lord Jagananth, Balavadra and Subhadra ) is held which is called Sandhya darsan. The traditional rituals for the Sandhya Darshan such as Mangala arati, Rosha Homa, Dwarapala and Surya pooja on Monday started from 4 am. The public had darshan of the deities till 9 pm. The police and district administration are busy making elaborate arrangements for the Bahuda Yatra.
