Naga Puja at the time of Durga Puja, the rare culture found only at Puri, Orissa. Naga culture derives from the old age Jaga Akhada Of Puri. Some scholars said Nagas are Saiva Devotee, beside worshiping they also practiced body building and wrestling. To memories these old tradition huge figures of Naga are used to built in different place of Puri at the time of Durga Puja. The Naga of Bali Sahi and Harachandi Sahi are old and famous in Puri’s local culture.

These clay figures resembles in human being standing in the manner of a hero with a well built body . His face consists of big orund eyes, sharp nose, curly mustache and beard, a beautiful heavy headgear adorns his head. On the top of this headgear a lotus flower of sola can be noticed.
