Character Naka Kana Of Sahi Jatra

Shurpanakha is a character in Valmiki’s epic, the Ramayana, and is the sister of the main antagonist, Ravana, King of Lanka. Khara was a man-eating rakshasa in the Indian Ramayana epic. He was a younger male cousin of Ravana and the son of Kaikesi’s sister Raka. Dushana was a man-eating Rakshasa in the Indian Ramayana epic. According to Indian epic Ramayana, Dushana and his twin brother Khara, younger brothers of Ravana, were demons who ruled the Dandaka Forest. After Lakshmana humiliated Shurpanakha by cutting off her nose ( Naka ) and ears ( Kana ), Khara and Dushana went to war against Lakshmana and Rama. During this fight, Dushana was killed by Rama.

 

 

In Sahi Jatra, lila of Dandakaranya, Shurpanakha was the character played .. But recently there is no chracter of as Shurpanakha. Symbolically Khara, Dushana is named as Naka Kana, as Shurpanakha loosed the organ. In the Dandakaranya chapter. Khara,Dhusana and Trisara with some other demon are played on the episode of Dandakaranya on the behalf of Harachandi Sahi.
