Celebrated Indian artist MF Husain, who earned both fame and wrath for his paintings, died in London today after being unwell for over a month.
To pay sandy tribute to the artist M F Husain, International sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a sand sculpture of the artist with a 10 ft long brush and color palet at puri beach in Orissa.
He is great painter, Sudarsan Pattnaik said I like his painting very much. His death is a great lose for our country. He has always taken a long brush with him so I decided to create a 10ft long brush which I dedicate to him. As an artist I pay tribute to him through my art.said Sudarsan.
Sudarsan took 3 hours to complete this 4ft high sand sculpture of M. F Husain. He used 3tones of sand in this sculpture.
Students of Sudarsan sand art school joins hand to complete this and they also pay tribute near the sculpture. lots of tourists also givining tribute to the artist, So far Sudarsan has participated in more than 45 international sand sculpture championships and won many prizes for our country.
