Internationally renowned sand animator, Manas Kumar Sahoo, has crafted a captivating sand animation film based on the Srimandira Parikrama Prakalpa of Jagannath Dham, Puri. This visually stunning 5-minute and 30-second film not only showcases the project intricately but also delves into the reasons behind its initiation.
The film sheds light on the challenges posed by the massive crowd gathering near the temple, causing congestion in Puri and leading to devotees enduring long hours under the scorching sun to catch a glimpse of the Lord. In response to these issues, the visionary Chief Minister took decisive action to expedite the Shrimandir Parikrama project.
The sand animation vividly illustrates the planned enhancements, including Sri Daanda, Sri Setu, AC terminal, modernized toilets, a substantial parking system, and the beautification of the temple premises. The narrative unfolds, showcasing the remarkable transformation of Puri initiated by these strategic developments.
It’s worth noting that Manas Sahoo invested 15 hours of meticulous effort to bring this 5-minute and 30-second sand animation film to life, capturing the essence of Puri’s incredible metamorphosis under the visionary leadership of the Chief Minister.
