Rishi Panchami, observed on Bhadraba Shukla Panchami, holds special significance. This brata, observed by Sridevi herself, is dedicated to rectifying mistakes made by women after their menstrual cycle. A legend tells that to absolve such errors, worship to Saptarishi is offered. Following the Sakala Dhupa, Sridevi is palanquined to Markandeswar Mahadev Mandir, where Majana is performed, Baruna puja is offered, and Naivedya is presented to Sapta Rishi. Brata Katha is recited, and the observance concludes with offerings of ripe bananas, fruits, and milk to the Rishis.
