Save Power, Save Earth – sand sculpture at Puri beach of Orissa


On the occasion of World Earth hour day International sand artist created a sand sculpture on “Save Power, Save Earth” at Puri beach of Orissa.

Pattnaik appeal to people around the world that switch off the power for 60 min to save the Earth from Global Warming through his sand sculpture. He created a 7ft high sculpture on this he is showing a globe in between city and many candles in the city with a message “Save Power, Save Earth”.

Earth Hour is a WWF initiative where YOU can show your support for action on climate change by turning off your lights for one hour. I am always trying to spread messages about to save the Earth from Global warming through my sand sculpture around the World. Earth Hour 2010 takes place on Saturday 27 March at 8.30pm and is a global call to action to every individual, every business and every community throughout the world said pattnaik.

Pattnaik won the world championship in 2008 at Berlin by creating a sand sculpture on Global Warming. So far he participated in more than 40 sand sculpture festivals and championships around the World and won many prizes
