World Tuberculosis Day, falling on March 24 each year, is designed to build public awareness about the global epidemic of tuberculosis (TB) and efforts to eliminate the disease. World TB Day was officially assigned on 24 March in 1982 by the world health organization.

Mr. Sahoo creates a beautiful sand sculpture on the eve of “World TB day”. Through his sculpture he wants to raise awareness about TB-related problems and solutions and to support worldwide TB control efforts, in the golden sea beach, near light house of Puri at the distance of 65k.m from capital of Odisha, Bhubaneswar.

His sculpture shows people are try to protect from the disease against TB. And he also wants to aware the people through his message “REACH, TREAT AND CURE EVERYONE” from TB. The height of this sculpture is 6 feet, utilizing 6 tons of sand by continuous labour of 8 hours .
The nice idea of this preparation is appreciated by lover of art and culture, all visitors & tourist & people of locality.
